Kelley Laswell

CEO/ADMINISTRATOR

Kelley has recently moved to Hillsboro, KS with her family to start her career at Parkside Homes Inc as their CEO/Administrator. Both she and her husband are from Newton, Kansas. They have three children who are excited to get to know the residents once the COVID-19 restrictions loosen up. She brings a variety of experiences to her position from completing two Administrator-in-Training programs, completing a divestiture in Minneapolis, KS, and being a Licensed Administrator in both Kansas and Iowa. She obtained her Masters in Health Care Leadership and Business Administration from Friends University, and her Undergraduate is a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wichita State University. She is excited to learn more about Parkside Homes and get involved within the community.

Melissa Arndt

When growing up you can say Melissa was an Army “brat”!  Her family traveled a lot when she was a child; this is how she ended up in Kansas.  She was always considered a care giver, even as a young child.  She started working in the healthcare field in 1999 as a CNA.  She began working at Parkside in 2001 and has worked in various positions over the years.  In 2018 she became the Social Services Designee for Skilled Nursing.  Helping resident’s and their families manage this next chapter of their life is my goal.  When not at work I have a husband and two children who occupy my time!

Heather Haskin

Heather was born in Wichita KS and moved to Chase County when she was around 7 years old.  She is from a large family where she has 7 Brothers and Sisters.  She obtained her first job, at a nursing home in Cottonwood Falls where her parents were employed, at the age of 16.  She started as a Dining assistant/ Dishwasher and eventually became the cook.

After graduating from Chase County High School in 2010 she moved to Marion County. She started cooking at Parkside Homes in 2011, which was also the year she met her husband, Ed.  In February 2014 they welcomed their son, James into the world. She briefly left Parkside in 2018, but came back in February 2020 full-time and with her vast knowledge and ability, was encouraged to become the CDM.  She is currently completing this coursework.

Nadine Friesen

CHAPLAIN

Nadine has been involved in ministry of one kind or another since getting her MA from seminary.  She has been a pastor, college adjunct professor, retreat speaker, hospice grief support chaplain and facilitator of multiple grief support groups.  Encouraging people as they deal with the challenges of life has always been one of her passions.  She has been serving as the Chaplain at Parkside since 2017.

Michelle Mosiman

Michelle has lived in Marion County for 3 years; she is originally from Newton.  Michelle is married and has 2 adult sons, 3 dogs, 1 cat and several chickens.  She attended Brown Mackie College in Salina where she received her Associate Degree in Nursing.  Michelle has worked in the medical field for 23 years, starting out as a CNA.  Michelle enjoys spending time with her family.  Michelle’s goal is for the residents of Assisted Living to always feel like they are at home and have a great time!
